Puente de la Inmaculada celebrations

The “Puente de la Inmaculada” is a public holiday enjoyed throughout the whole of Spain. It begins on the 6th of December when the “Día de la Constitución” is celebrated and which, for Barcelona in particular; marks the start of the Christmas shopping period and when stores such as El Corte Inglés begin their longer opening hours and stock their shelves with christmas produce, until the 8th when celebrations of the immaculate conception commence. bandera-espana-catalana--644x362

During the day of the 7th, many Spaniards choose to take this day off work and thus, there is a truly festive buzz about the area and is without doubt one of the most exciting times to visit this beautiful city!  When looking for a place to stay during this period of national holidays, the following penthouse in Paseo de Gracia boasts not only a central location for easy access to all the festivities but also incredible views of the city from both the large terrace and private balcony.
